Psalm 23

Psalm 23 was chosen to convey the same concept as El Lissitzky's poster, the sharp shapes like triangles and rectangles, as well as circles and lines battling each other. These elements were used to convey a serious and visual message that aligns with the designer's style. Using a few words from Psalm 23 reveals a glimpse of the poster's overall concept. Red, black, and beige, along with the shape arrangements has a role in portraying the psalmist's battle against evil. The poster's emphasis shows having the Lord as the savior strengthens the psalmist to fear no evil.
